My first Festival
This was my first experience in a Festival environment after 2 years of photography as a semi-pro! Being a huge music head since childhood, this was definitely an opportunity of a lifetime!
I was familiar with a few of the artists that were performing, however, there was so much to take in: the music, the performances and the dancing were all new to me. A little prayer before the concert started and I just let my experience & the adrenaline take control. Thankfully, the images turned out about as well as I could have imagined
This definitely set me down the route of Concert/Festival photography!

The 2nd Festival
Now this festival was AMAZING. From the organisation, to the staff to the music, it was an all round experience that I'll never forget. This was also my first paid gig in a Festival setting which meant I did feel a certain level of pressure to deliver results to the height of my previous experiences. As I did in the first festival, I trusted my instincts, and I reminded myself to have fun throughout.

I've been fortunate enough to encounter some amazing artists along my journey as a photographer and Sagalina is definitely one of them! As a friend, colleague at one point and as a fan, I truly admire her!
As an RnB artist, her musicality, stage presence and charisma speak for themselves. I was able to use my camera to capture the moments that she created during the Montreux Jazz. Enjoy!
